Reign Week is our nine-day wedding experience across Ghana, bringing together love, culture, heritage, adventure and community as we journey toward our Royal Wedding. Our guests will experience Ghana alongside us through thoughtfully curated cultural experiences, ancestral connections, celebrations and traditions — culminating in our Traditional Engagement Ceremony and Royal Wedding in Tamale.
From Accra to the ancestral grounds of Cape Coast, the waters of the Volta and the royal traditions of Tamale, each experience has been intentionally curated around love, culture, lineage, celebration and legacy.
Each experience is part of the story. Each gathering brings us closer to the union.
7 November
Akwaaba — Welcome to Ghana
Arrival + Welcome Dinner. Reign Week begins in Accra with a warm Akwaaba. Guests arrive, settle in, and gather for our official Welcome Dinner — the first opportunity to meet, reconnect, and celebrate together before the journey begins.

Crowned & Celebrated
Dining en' Kente. A celebration of the couple highlighting Ghanaian fashion, food and culture. Come dressed to be seen as we celebrate heritage through bold Kente, striking fashion, beautiful surroundings, joy and community.

Black Star Renaissance
Accra Cultural Experience + White & Gold Sunset Meet Up. Discover the history, energy and creative spirit of Ghana's capital, including the W.E.B. DuBois Center, Independence Square, and the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, before shifting into our White & Gold Sunset Mixer.

Sankofa
Ancestral Journey. A day of remembrance, reflection and return — Assin Manso, Cape Coast Castle, and the Door of No Return.

Ancestors' Wildest Dreams
Traditional Naming Ceremony + The Love Boat. A day centered on identity, belonging and celebration in Ghana's Volta Region, culminating in a cruise on the Volta River.

The Journey North
Accra → Tamale. Reign Week moves north to Tamale, the cultural heart of Northern Ghana and home of the Queen's traditional leadership.

The Traditional Ceremony
Engagement Ceremony. Family, culture and tradition come together — dowry presentation, elders' blessings, cultural performances, drumming and communal celebration.

The Royal Wedding
Royal Ceremony + Durbar + Reception. The crown jewel of Reign Week — a Grand Royal Procession, a Durbar of Chiefs and Queen Mothers, marriage rites and vows, followed by an evening reception.

The Legacy Project
Communal Giveback + Legacy Offering. The celebration ends with purpose — a communal giveback honoring the land and people of Tamale, supporting restorative medical care and maternal health.
