The Royal Ceremony & Reception — 14 November
Red Clay Studios, Tamale. A formal celebration of our union — royal ceremony and procession, followed by an evening reception with live music and dining. Black Tie, formal, or traditional African attire.
Getting to Tamale
Tamale is easily accessible with several travel options from Accra.
VIP Bus (Recommended)
Comfortable, air-conditioned coaches with multiple daily departures from Accra. GHS 360 one way, 10 to 12 hours, book online at vipbustickets.com
Self Drive
About 600km from Accra via the N1, 8 to 10 hours, well-paved with fuel stations and rest stops along the way.
Domestic Flight
Accra (ACC) to Tamale (TML), about 1 hour. Africa World Airlines and Passion Air both operate this route — book early, as seats can fill quickly around major events.
Tip: plan travel for early morning or evening to avoid peak heat, and keep water and a charged phone with offline maps on hand.
Accommodation
Tamale offers a range of hotels, guesthouses, and private stays. Browse options on Booking.com or Airbnb, or reach out to us directly for help arranging your stay or ground transportation.
Location tip: search near Red Clay Studios, Tamale — that's where the Royal Wedding takes place, so it's the most convenient reference point when choosing where to stay.

Attire Guide
Royal Wedding Day — Regal, Sophisticated
Colour palette: burgundy, gold, copper, navy, and rich earth tones. Elegant gowns, tailored suits, and refined African formal wear — think luxury fabrics, headwraps, and gold accents.
Traditional Day — Authentic, Vibrant
Colour range: African blues and neutrals. Ankara, Kente, Aso Oke, and handwoven textiles are all beautiful choices — dress your best, and choose breathable fabrics for the Northern Ghana climate.
Some events take place outdoors, averaging 27 to 32°C (81 to 90°F) in November. Comfortable footwear and sun protection are recommended.
Gifts
Your presence is the greatest gift. For those who wish to further honor our union, your generosity is received with sincere gratitude — as an expression of support, goodwill, and blessing for the life we're building together.
The Legacy Project
On 15 November, our celebration ends with purpose. Rather than spontaneous giving during ceremonies, guests who wish to participate in giving back are invited to contribute through this intentional Legacy Offering — a communal giveback honoring the land and people of Tamale, supporting restorative medical care and maternal health.
